About the Community and Social Services Graduate Program
The Community and Social Services Graduate Program (the Graduate Program) is a structured 12-month graduate program which supports workforce retention by investing in early-career practitioners to build their job-readiness and skills.
Community services workers are highly-skilled professionals who work in challenging, expert roles. Retaining and developing new starters is essential to building a skilled and experienced workforce. However, unlike other social services professions, community services does not routinely offer a dedicated graduate program to attract, prepare and develop early career professionals.
The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing is looking to partner with community services organisations and share in developing the future supply of skilled practitioners for the benefit of the whole sector.
We are looking for employers who want to help develop the future community and social services workforce.
If your organisation is keen to support a great early-career experience for a new community and social services graduate complete the employer registration to see if you’re eligible to participate.
